Our Commitment: WiFi Tester respects and protects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers.
1. Information Collection
WiFi Tester is a locally-running network diagnostic tool. We:
- Do not collect personal identification information
- Do not collect location data (only used locally for WiFi info)
- Do not collect network usage history
- Do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services
2. Local Data Storage
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Network diagnostic history
- Speed test results
- User preferences (language, test parameters)
All data is stored only on your device. You can clear this data anytime in Settings.
3. Permissions
Location Permission: iOS requires location permission to read WiFi network name (SSID). This is only used locally; we do not record or transmit your location.
Local Network Permission: Used for scanning local network devices and performing diagnostics. All operations are performed locally.
4. Data Security
Since we do not collect or transmit any data to external servers, your information always remains secure on your own device.
5. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any users.
